A surface-EMG readout that measures how hard a muscle is contracting and displays the strength in real time, serving as an early building block for the team's later EMG-driven control projects.
Signal Processing
Raw surface EMG is filtered, rectified, and enveloped on an Arduino Uno R4 to recover a smooth activation magnitude that tracks contraction strength.
Visualization
The processed envelope is mapped to a live strength indicator, giving immediate visual feedback as the monitored muscle is flexed and relaxed.
